A yummy way to get Eli to eat his fruits(and veggies) is to make fruitsicles. Especially on these hot summer days. Today I made Butternutsquash, Plum and Banana Fruitsicles.
I baked the butternutsquash in an inch of water for 45 minutes at 400 degrees, then scooped out the meat and blended it with one plum(peeled) and a splash of apple juice for sweetness. Then I diced up a banana and added to my pureed mixture...freeze, wait 2 hours and done! A healthy, fun snack for babies, toddlers and kids! (I like them too!)
He loves it and has no idea it's healthy! Ssshhh!
